Purpose of Role

 

To provide administrative support to the operations team including stock control.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the stock management system (DRAMS) to ensure HMRC compliance
  • Provide support to DRAMS super user in processing rental invoices, month end, and other routine system maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare month end reports for submission to HMRC
  • Work as part of the stock management team to process spirit movements on site, and to and from external locations.
  • Processing of delivery orders
  • Liaise with IBHL and external customers to process information requests Work closely with the Customer Services team in providing relevant documents to meet customer and international customs requirements.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse teams to ensure stocking is updated onto the line system
  • Support DRAMS requests from the Distillery teams
  • Attend Tier meetings
  • Providing administrative support to wider Operations team as necessary

 

Scope of Role

  • Work closely with the Stock Controller and Admin Team, and also liaise with the Warehouse Teams, Process Teams and some ad-hoc support for the Distillery teams
  • Requires cooperation with Trapeze (DRAMS administrators) to aid in maintenance and development of DRAMS
  • The first 3 months of the role will involve intense training in stock processing activities
     

Working Conditions

  • 39 hour working week
  • Mostly office based, however, Tier meetings are held in warehouses, so there is a small exposure to the elements

 


 

Personal Profile

  • Experience of IT, specifically use of email, MS Excel and MS Word or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Logical thinking to ensure compliance with HMRC procedures
  • Ability to coordinate and organise workload reasonably independently.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels
  • Self-starter, able to work own their own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of computerised stock management system
  • Experience of spirits or drinks industry
