Roles & Responsibilities :-

  • Drives excellence in all aspects of financial reporting. Reviews, manages, supervises, and approves day-to-day operations to ensure that accounting team is operating according to the Policies/Regulations
    • Monitors and reviews month end closing processes, quarterly close, impairment, CapEx, balance sheet, and tax filing to achieve the deadlines. 
    • Reviews and analyzes financial reports including Reporting package, Balance sheet, Sub-ledgers, COS analysis, Capital spending, AMP report, Statutory report and ad hoc reports as required by management.
    • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors , internal auditor and other regulatory for audit event
  • Ensure excellence in transaction processing, including sales reporting, cash collection, capital spending, accounts payable and payment.
  • Assist in reviewing the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances or non-compliance with the policies/requirements
  • Assist the Financial Controller in formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
  • Act as an expert and key contact for technical accounting topics and advise on control over new process/marketing activity
  • Ensure financial related clause in IFA is met e.g. collection, royalty calculation, etc. and support franchisor’s audit team
  • Liaison with outsource company which might be related to F&A team e.g. payroll, payment
  • Assist the Financial Controller in internal daily or ad hoc matters


Desired Skills and Experience :-

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Master degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Minimum 7 years experiences in the field in multinational firm with at least 5 years in management level, including 2-3 years in auditing or consulting fields. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, mature, self-initiative, and result oriented.
  • Strategic thinking with effective communication skill.
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g. SAP)
  • Good interpersonal and good team player.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
